Emery still has three interviews scheduled so, if this report is true, he would have to cancel them. Also, it's Jimmy Johnson on Twitter saying "it looks like". That's hardly a legitimate report from a journalistic point of view. It could be a case where Trestman is the frontrunner, or indeed that Emery has decided to cancel the last 3 interviews and hire Trestman today, but that seems unlikely to me. |

Yeah - the title of this thread is a bit optimistic. We have no idea is he's been hired. (Though he is my top choice and has been for awhile).

Normally Phil Seems to keep everything super quiet and low key, this may have gotten leaked about his true intentions of Marc Trestman too early. This shall get very interesting indeed..

Just stoping by, your being ridiculous. The reason your thread was locked was like you said, because you were 1 minute late. First come first serve buddy. Grr is being far from a jerk. Just leave it alone. Its not worth getting all upset and pouting.
Ps. I like the hire for Chicago.
Pps. There is no report or anything on ESPN right now, usually they jump all over these reports.

Sr this is an official warning, if you feel the need to call me names both on the forums and in PMs then you need to leave. This is clearly against the webmaster's forum rules.
What you fail to comprehend is that I (or AZ) don't make the rules here, and we don't even decide how we enforce them...that is all the webmaster's doing. It's his call as to what we should lock and what we shouldn't. So if you have a problem with the fact that your thread was locked instead of the other one when they are basically duplicate subjects then I would suggest that you either find somewhere else to post, or come to the realization that what we do here is what the webmaster asks us to do, no more, no less...and post here like a grown up.

Believe me, I wouldn't give a flying... If any of my threads got locked down because there was already one up. The rule of thumb around here is whoevers thread comes up first, stays. Yours was second and got locked... Nothing personal. I've been following this board for a good 7-8 years now and Grr is the most respected member on this entire website. Just chill out amigo
