According to a source, do not expect this #Browns staff to look at Derek Anderson to compete at QB. I've been told that's not happening. |

The defense is very promising, that's why I don't want to get away from it. | What teams in the NFL stayed 100% healthy this year? Looking at the entire league, our D was probably top 10 in health. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

And youth
I'm just saying that the promise of young defenders is there.
I believe changing schemes will slow their growth. _________________

spot on, with the youth we have I would like to stay with the 4-3
I just read on ESPN their opinion on what our front would be in a 30 front:
DE: Phil NT: Rubin DE: Winn/ Frostee
OLB: Sheard ILB DQ & Gocong OLB: ?? draft pick/ FA
the writer's point was that we would still have a hole at OLB or DE in a odd or even front...
HOWEVER really looking at it, DQ was pretty bad in the 3-4, I think Gocong is best as a SAM in a even look- and we really don't know much about sheard as a pure OLB- sure he stood up a few times but I feel he is more of a DE--
Basically with a second lookI don't like any of our linebackers-to-be in the 30. Plus winn/frostee may not be the best base ends....
PLEASE PLEASE let us stay in the 4-3 at most a hybrid type... _________________

MaryKayCabot: #Browns' Banner on Chud's role in personnel decisions: "He won't just be involved, he'll dictate that.''

I like this. If there is a player Chud wants he can try to acquire him with no questions asked. Talk about doing everything in your power to make sure a guy will succeed |

Does he mean personnel as in players, or oaches?
I'm guessing he meant coaches. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

Everyone else around him was bad. | Plus, I mean, his 2nd year he showed he was something to be excited about and his 3rd year was either his best or 2nd best season in terms of production. IMO, 2008, 2011, and 2012 DQ was about the same player. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

I think both honestly. He'll assume the GM role is my guess (like Banner did with Reid in Philly) with the GM being nothing more than a glorified scout

I'm guessing he meant coaches. | I kind of hope so, but with that being said, I'm not going to be upset if he gets free rein on player acquisition. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

With Chud's vertical offense philosophy being implemented, does this put the browns in the market for a premier WR to pair with Gordon? Cuz I'm not impressed with Little.
Greg Jennings or Mike Wallace? |

I agree (whats happening today???)
Jackson needs to play a true Will inside, like navaro bowman. We finally have a true mike in Gocong or JMJ, which Jackson has never had. That alone would make a huge difference. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |
