Oh [inappropriate/removed]
I would love to have Norv as a OC |
Yep I can get on board. Now we BETTER and I mean BETTER get a top defensive mind for DC.
And we BETTER and I mean BETTER get a top player acquisition guy. _________________

Ok, that makes me a very excited person. Much as Norv failed as a HC, he has never been a bad OC. _________________

Gives the team legit playcalling balance. |
Yes, this would be a phenomenal coup by Haslam and Co. Chud has some fantastic play designs and schemes but his play calling isn't the finest. Norv (in my opinion) is the best play caller in the league. Could be a deadly duo. _________________

I will say this... if Jauron stays you have 2 veteran coaches as assistants. While they lost their jobs, they were head coaches and have been in the league for quite some time. _________________

Lulz at the Carolina fans thinking Chud popped into reality in 2010 as a fully formed OC candidate with no history of any non-Camcentric system. _________________

Exactly
He was a terrible head coach but I can definitely feel a little excited for him being a OC _________________

Here's hoping we don't have someone new in place in 2-3 years. Could this be the guy who turns things around? I'm most interested to see the staff that surrounds him. Hopefully Jauron stays as DC. Norv would be okay as an offensive assistant. | I agree, my first reaction when I heard we hired Shurmur was that we made a huge mistake. Then when I heard he was also going to be the OC I was pretty upset. Chud might not have been the sexiest choice, but it was middle of the road for me, and if he brings Norv in as the OC, it makes it even better. Obviously, much better than Shurmur being HC/OC as a rookie HC. Chud has also had more success than Shurmur as an OC. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

Hold up:
Are we getting Norv... Norvs son? Or both?
| Quote: | | Bet on this: Chud will take Scott Turner, Norv's son, with him. Scott, CAR off quality control coach, was Chud's right-hand man in Charlotte |

That's an assumption based upon the relationship between Chud and Scott Turner. _________________

| Not sexy at all. I'm not sure what type of head coach or personality he'll be, he seems to have spent practically his entire coordinating career in the box instead of the field. |

Mary Kay seems to think 3-4 Defense | Now THAT is the only thing I really hoped I wouldn't hear during this whole thing. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:
