Usually I just grab a scout spot, but I think I'd like to step up a little bit this go-around. How about OC? _________________

Alright. I'll put you guys down. PD, I'll put you down as Assistant GM since you did an excellent job in FFMD1, and this is my first time being a GM for FFMD in a while. _________________

Basically, you can evaluate some prospects you feel like we should draft. You could provide strengths and weaknesses for the prospect. You will also get a say in who we should pick also along with members of the coaching staff and the Assistant GM. _________________

I am going to make a list of needs. Tell me what you think and you can also PM me or post your own list too.
WR- Obviously since we released Walter, we have nobody behind Andre Johnson. Martin is unproven and he isnt a real number 2 WR. Posey is hurt and Jean is unproven also. We have to get better there.
ILB- Cushing is coming off an injury and right now we have Darryl Sharpton on the roster. We could use some depth at the position.
NT- Cody is a FA and he probably wont resign. Earl Mitchell is the starter. We could use a run stuffing NT to draw double teams to make room for our pass rushers.
OLB - Barwin is with the Eagles and we know how Wade Phillips loves to have an extra OLB to use on passing downs.
OT - We could use depth at RT and we could use a guy to compete with Newton for the job.
S - now a days you need an extra safety since the NFL is a passing league now.
These are the ones that stand out. We could also use depth at RB since Justin Forsett is on the Jags. Adding another CB for depth wouldnt be bad either. _________________

TF713 - saw your list of needs (well done BTW)
I am not on staff, but I would also throw in:
3rd TE (Graham contract up soon, Owen ain't getting younger)
Not so sure if another CB is needed, but definitely a hybrid CB / S (like GQ!) would be appealing to provide depth & learn behind Reed (and he needs to have SSSSSPPPPPPPEEEEEDDDDDDDDD!) |

Yeah TE is definitely something we could explore. Kenney PM'ed me his list and he said the same thing. I am cool with that.
BTW, I think we should use code words like the other team boards use when they are talking about their picks. That way we can all discuss the draft at the same time instead of separate PM's. _________________

It's easiest if we base it off of, say, one person's big board/prospect ranking. A specific position can be denoted by a letter and a specific player can be denoted by matching a letter-number combo that denotes position + that prospects specific ranking.
Other ways I've seen it done include giving players random names (Greek gods, famous authors, etc.). Make it simple and make it impossible to screw up. |
