Thought Rod Marinelli was going to be a option for Jax. Good hire for Dallas.

Yeah, it's not very smart on his part. He already had good personnel in a high profile job in a high profile city and would have had a pretty long leash as far as making decisions for the defense goes.
Instead, he wants a pay cut to be a position coach with no control over anything. He's bananas.
Makes me wonder whether he thinks he can't handle the job without a defensive expert as his boss to watch over him. |
Some people just dont like leadership role and would rather take a back seat. If this is what Rod prefers, more power to him. |

He never wanted to be the bears DC. He did it for lovie as a favor to him.
