Rainey was arrested on battery charges.

***Update***

hris Rainey passed through waivers without any claims on him. So that's a thing.

Steelers FO do not mess around. Kudos to them. I *hear* that Rainey had similar incidences in college. Anyone know if there's any truth to that?

As for on the field. He did a good job returning kicks (At least against the Bengals). Losing Wallace (potentially) and Rainey takes the team speed down a notch...

I agree. This is exactly how an organization should be run. There should be zero tolerance when it comes to stupidity.

Can't we have a quiet offseason for once Evil or Very Mad

Pouncey better knock some sense into him, I hope he can straighten himself out and be a starter for some team down the road.

He texted an ex-gf something like "time to die, bi***". Tomlin gave him a hard time about it in training camp. Guess nobody's laughing now...

Unless you're the starting QB?

Hmm Alameeda Taamu is still on the Practice Squad Felony arrest evading police. Truth is they didn't need him kick returners are a dime a dozen. And he offered nothing on offense were just like any other team.

Or the all-pro LB. I'm not ripping on the Steelers, but all pro teams have double standards for "no tolerance" policies. If you're a star, you get second (or third) chances. If you're not, you don't.

No point denying it, it's absolutely true. Younger players seem to have a shorter leash as well, which is why I'm curious Ta'amu is still around.

There's nothing wrong with a little bit of rape as long as you don't beat them while you're doing it. Obviously. Laughing

OK let's lay off Ben Rainey and those other players were arrested Ben was not. I don't know where this Steeler way came from. They are one of the model franchises in how a team should be run but not in behavior control no team is.

Let's not act like Ben got a pass because he "didn't get arrested." The guy's the franchise QB. Unless he's looking at serious jail time they're not gonna let him go. Chris Rainey is a return specialist who probably barely made the 53 man roster. One guy's just easier to make an example out of, while the other is too important to your team winning.

Edit- @Ernesto It was a joke. Get over it.
