| Alrighrt Eagle Nation, What do you say? Here's a guy who took a 31st rank defense and brought them up to 17th. With nearly half of his starters out for a good part of the year. So what would he do with a defense that had nearly an injury free starting 11? We know he knows defense. Hell, it's in his blood. And know he's pissed off at Jerry Jones and the Cowgirls. GET THIS GUY UNDER CONTRACT NOW!!! If not him than who? And I love the S.O.A. look. |

| 22nd in PA and YPA with a banged up defense. He knows the division. Going to the3-4 scheme would definitely be an adjustment, but other teams have, namely, the Cowgirls. Our starting unit has more youngsters now than we've had in a loooong time. So teaching this group you would think, they would be more receptive. If we're looking for change, then we need to do a COMPLETE 180. Attitude and accountability that's what I'm looking for. |

That is his CAREER averages. Not this year's.
And just because a player is young, doesn't mean they can just adjust to any scheme and learn it and be fine. There are players who fit on one scheme and not another. If we switch to a 3-4...Ryan is certainly not the coach I want doing it.
Look at the talent he's had on that Dallas defense...Jay Ratliff, Anthony Spencer, DeMarcus Ware, Brandon Carr, Bruce Carter (pre injury), Dan Connor, Morris Claiborne etc.
Rob Ryan is an overrated, joke of a coach and should never be a defensive coordinator in the NFL again. Sadly, he probably will solely because of his last name.

I'm trying to think of a more over rated coach in the NFL, seriously? Has he ever really had success? I'm not talking multiple games but seasonal? If his last name wasn't Ryan , son of Buddy and brother to Rex he'd be an after thought. Like his brother he's just another loud mouth who can't back up it up.

Mr. Mooshi, I'm sorry man. This thread has been brutal. Rob is just a terrible. I appreciate the thought though. On the surface he's got that ridiculous personality and you always see him yelling. But Rob is just not a good defensive coordinator.
Let's just hug it out and you promise never to defend Rob Ryan again.
