Don't trust Howard Eskin on any report. I do think that Gus will be the coach because of the second interview but Eskin hasn't accurately broken a story in ages it seems like.

Yeah, it's definitely starting to look like he's the guy. I know he had the second interview with us lined up for tomorrow, but it could very well be to just finalize the deal. I like the hire, dude apparently has a good football mind, specifically on defense, and depending on his staff could be a great hire.

I'm specifically just looking forward to this HC search being over so the guy can prepare his staff, team, draft plans, etc.

Would be one of the few rumored candidates that I wouldn't mind.

Pep Hamilton (Stanford OC) would be an interesting name for the job here if Bradley is the head coach. They have a tie to Bob Babich (who it wouldn't shock me if he was the LB coach), and Pep has already looked into NFL opportunities with the New York Jets.

Stanford is a run heavy ZBS team that has some very QB friendly plays, which would be perfect for us.
