I've been thinking about our lack of a number 1 pick this year and next year and would very seriously consider trading this years number 2 for a number 1 in 2014 unless there was a top 32 talent at a skill position (CB, S, WR) that dropped to us
What do you think the chances are that we could get a trading partner and would you do it?
Looking at some of the mock drafts there isn't much difference between the CB,S,WR being mocked in the second and third rounds at our pick.
If we made the trade we would be in a better long term position.
The things that really worries me is if RG3 is out for a substantial portion of next year. (Rams fans will be salivating at our misfortune). I like Cousins, but having two QB rookies in a row do well in their first year starting is almost unheard of. Could be a tough year and we wont have our own 2014 pick, but could have someone's through a trade to jump start 2014 when RG3 is fully recovered. |

Nope BPA if we fix our DB and Tackle problems in Fa. I'm not interested in trading up or down in this draft or for future picks. _________________

since when? I just don't see it. They could end up losing a top 10 pick for the 51st pick in the draft?
I mean it's possible some team is this stupid but I think very unlikely. |

It could happen, I don't think it will though and I don't Jill we will entertain the thought. Their are good DBs in this draft, ones that even in round 2 could start day 1 _________________

Not what I want to see happen, either trade up in this draft for the best safety available in round 1 (Reid [who on drafttek has worked his way back up to #1 FS, TJ McFonald, Vacarro (who's still my fav) or Elam (#2)] or we just sit there and wait for the 51st pick to come around and take bpa in a position we desperately need. Right now Walter football has us taking Xaiver Rhodes (which is love), drafttek has us taking Alex Okafor (who i love but I think we want to go DB or OT 1st before an OLB or even ILb) _________________
