Just putting a scenario out there. Star and Joeckel are the two most debated selections at #4. What if they aren't there and nobody is willing to trade up?
I eliminated Geno just to avoid the whole QB controversy and/or leave the possibility open that someone trades up Skins/RGIII style to get him.
Top QB, LT and DT are gone....who ya got and why? _________________

To me it comes down to Damontre Moore, Bjoern Werner, or Jarvis Jones if this situation plays out.
Spinal stenosis removes Jarvis Jones from the list for me.
It's Damontre Moore. _________________

It really depends what system we run. At the face of it, I'm looking at either Werner or, if he checks out medically, Jones. _________________

I'd like to hope we wouldn't take Werner, I don't rate him as highly as others.
I'd like Moore or Jones at #4 if this situation arises. _________________

I think there are four candidates - Jones, Werner, Moore and Hankins...
I think at this spot in the draft, Hankins is the biggest reach and probably the worst pick.
I've got Werner the highest rated, but he is strictly a DE and the only reason he rates above Jones is the spinal condition.
I think I'm taking Jones provided my team doctors sign off and don't raise any red flags. If there is a red flag, I'm taking Werner and probably shopping Cole for a pick.
I think Jones is the superior talent and also can play a Von Miller type role in the defense SAM/DE hybrid, which I think adds to his profile and makes him the most valuable pick at that spot. |

Mingo or Milliner depending on what scheme we run. As of today I am guessing we go 3-4 in which case I take Mingo or Tampa 2 in which case I take Milliner. I believe either of those guys would strive in those particular schemes. _________________

If you think Jones can play for 10 years without being hampered by injuries.
Moore have great stats but is a hustle player not the guy you take top 5.
Joeckel is the safe/almost certain to be there pick, but if he's gone I think you have to roll the dice on a guy with huge potential, Dion Jordan as an example. _________________

| If you can't trade down I really like Jones, but it is scary picking someone that high who has been injury prone. Werner is clearly the safest pick, but I dont think the team is ready to give up on Cole just yet. Therefore I think you go with a freak athlete like Mingo or Jordan. The other guys might be ready to step in right away and start, but in my opinion those two guys have the highest ceilings in this draft outside of Star. |

| Quote: | A big time edge talent that has been more productive than any defensive player in the nation over the past two years. 37.5 tackles for loss and 21 sacks. Moore is a consistent force in every game I watch, no matter who he is matched up against. Plays the same position that Von Miller did while he was an Aggie. Not blessed with the same speed/explosion but Moore has the length and nose for the action. Moore is all over the field. The thing that scares me is the inability to beat guys one on one initially off the snap. A lot of his plays are hustle based after a play breaks down. That’s great when considering how hard he plays, but to be an elite edge talent I want to see guys win more initial battles. He will end with a high grade and likely a top 10 pick, but I am still trying to figure out his game.

Most people agree with the it, Moore is simply not a great athlete. And relies on hustle which is nice, but not top 5 worthy. _________________
