Chukwurah was a versatile player who was always stuck in vanilla 4-3 defenses when he should have been a 3-4 OLB. He actually makes perfect sense for the Seahawks defense which while not a 3-4 it does have similar types of players. It's a bizarre signing only because the guy has been out of football. Based on his past time in the NFL he's actually a very good fit. It's a shame for him he never was used in a Chris Clemons-like role earlier in his career because he probably would have had a better career. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

CHuk is a full time personal trainer, and was most likely in better shape then any of the other guys who tried out. Check this out, the guy is ripped http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfD5bkCHiBQ
Remember, John and Pete don't focus on what a player doesn't do well, they look at what someone does really well and focus on putting them into a position to use what they do well. I have no idea what type of player Chuk is but, if he can get after a pass rusher, maybe he's a good fit as a back up. _________________

The reports from earlier must have lied. He didn't beat the competition in tryouts...he ate them _________________

Hmm... I woulda preferred any of the other 3 over Chuckwarah... But meh, none of them would have been hugely impactful signings anyhoo. _________________

| This is a PC/Schneider move if I've ever seen one: Star player goes down in a playoffs? Sign the guy that nobody's heard of! It'll be fun to see if he contributes anything. |

Imagine if he got a ring, that would be crazy after being out of the league for years. _________________

I could understand you want Maybin or Laboy more. _________________

I love you vike daddy, but this post is insulting to my football intelligence. I was referring more toward the fact that he would be in good shape because he is a personal trainer and looks like he does. Clearly, this does not mean he is a star NFLer or else I would be in the league JK _________________
