We're going to take a corner unless we switch to the 3-4 in which case I bet we get Moore.
Why take DE in the 5th round with a destroyed ACL. Sounds like UDFA material.
No FB.
I'd rather have Mike Williams from Bama. He's my TE this year. _________________ Trent Richardson please!!! |

#1 Browns are not going to take a corner 1st over all if they just signed a big FA like Cox.
The DE in the 5th was just taking a shot on a guy with big play potential that falls due to injury.
FB's make power runners more effective and not getting one for Richardson would be dumb. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

It doesn't bother me to use a late pick on a FB, but whoever the next head coach is, I hope that the only time we see a fullback being used is short yardage situations and goal line formations. The worst thing for a back like Trent is to have a lead blocker in the majority of snaps. They clog the LOS, where having a second TE or receiver spreads the defense out, and gives the guy a bigger lane to run through. _________________

Doesn't seem to bother Adrian Petterson or Darren Mcfadden for example.
The FB helps to create a seal for the ballcarrier _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

I actually REALLY like the FA/offseason.
Hartline adds a weapon and completes the WR core
Schwartz solidifies the OL
Cox gives us a solid #2 and fixes the base D.
Unfortunately, I have been off my game thus far and cannot comment on your draft picks. If we trade down, I would expect a DE to be targeted, but we could still use another corner (Skrine is tuuuurrrrrible) or FS.
I have not heard much about Okafor lately, but know he was projected to be a stud a few years ago. _________________ Always rooting against Pittsburgh and Baltimore ... |

It's more economical to draft a corner than pay a slightly above avg one 60 mil. That's why I've shied away from DRC.
Mike Williams and Smelley are good enough.
I agree dude has potential but he was a 4th-5th rounder before his ACL tear. _________________ Trent Richardson please!!! |

1st The Browns have the 2nd most cap room in the NFL with a spending floor limit.
2 Totally disagree or threy woudl have played instead of Alex Smith.
3 The guy abused Alabama's OL, that by itself had his stock higher than that.
Ether way I was rolling the dice on a guy who has talent but hurt. Seems like to me that round 5-7 is the place to do that. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Gruden and banner cannot work together. It has been documented.
Also Trestman won't leave a HC gig in the CFL for a coordinator in the NFL. Especially since his reasoning to take that HC gig was to gain the experience he felt he needed to become an NFL HC. _________________ “From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renenwed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.” -- J R R Tolkien LOTR |
