There's a link on rotoworld but I'm on my phone. Apparently because cam was our leading rusher. Good job chud. U cost this man his job. Not a big fan of firing coaches who had nothing to do with the problem _________________

Richardson told Rivera he gets another year and if he isn't going to fire Chud he has to fire someone else.

WR coach Fred Graves and LB coach Warren Belin also fired.
Why isn't John Matsko (OL coach) fired? Or the special teams coordinator? _________________

Deangelo retweeted the reports on twitter. I wonder if that's out of support for the fired or relief that they're gone |

Probably support. This day and age, most players do not get attached to coaches since it's a carousel every year. _________________

Every time a team does not have a perfect year, they are going to throw coaches under the bus. It's a part of a team growing. It happens every year a team does not do well.
I think Rivera should have been a bit more rash in his moves and gotten rid of Chud due to the fact that his play calling has fallen way off since last year and hire someone that is an overall better situational play caller and doesn't like to get cute in situations where we have the players to get the first down or into the endzone. All posistional coaches do is help their players with mechanics and basic understanding of the scheme/plays that are called. _________________

There's a great comment at the bottom of the article:
"His staff was filled with college coaches and game day decisions showed it. He’s got one more year in my eyes before I start casting stones. The one thing you can say for the guy is his team ever quit on him, even with a combined 36 men on the IR over the last two seasons."
I agree with that.
I also agree with
"You fail to realize this man took over the worst team in the NFL… a team that was starting Jimmy Clausen as their starting QB… a team that rebuilt from scratch when he came here… a team that was constructed poorly by an awful GM who was finally canned this year.
All things considered I think he has done a reasonable job given the hand he was dealt." _________________ Still the only UK-based Panthers fan I know...hang on a minute...I might be the only one IN the UK! |

| A healthy and improved offensive line will help more than a new RB coach. |

running it downhill out of traditional sets will help the offensive line more than anything. those guys never had a chance with the read option bs _________________
