Oh boy. The GM says there is no scenario that could lead to Tebow being a Jaguar and people still can't let it go.

And no, this wasn't a "no tampering" answer. His answer about Greg Roman was a no tampering answer. "No scenario even if released" is significantly different than "he's under contract, we can't discuss it" which was his answer about Roman.

Okay. What would he have said if there was interest in Tebow? You're making too much out of it because of your own bias.

And no one available until the 2014 draft gives you a better chance to win than Tebow.

"He is under contract with the New York Jets so I cannot comment on him at this time."

You know... similar to what he said about Roman

If there was interest? "He's under contract and can't be discussed". Do you see the difference between saying that and flat out lying to a fan base?

I'll just ignore the hilariously untrue second statement.

And he said that about Roman before he said anything about Tebow, so it's not like he figured out how to phrase it after already addressing the possibility of Tebow.

Further, Casserly thinks that he's going to get fined for what he said because he is supposed to simply say "He is under contract with the New York Jets so I cannot comment on him at this time" and nothing else. So no, it wasn't a answer to get away from tampering.

We'll never win. Tebow is going to be 40 years old and still have rumors about being signed by the Jaguars.

Just like we are still going to LA next year or something lol.

First moves by Caldy: Firing Mularkey and saying no to Tebow.

Best GM ever.

Can't really be surprised by this when the media has a report out there saying "Tebow to Jags is a lock next year"

In retrospect that almost made it certain that it was going to be anything but a lock

BTW, how much credibility do these people have left
"Andy Reid to Cardinals a Done Deal"
"Chip Kelly to Browns a Done Deal"
"Tebow to the Jaguars a Done Deal"

You forgot Tom Gamble to the Jets.

Too bad ESPN only covers sports and wasn't around until 1979. They would have been the ones to break this story:

But......but...... what's going to happen to the Jaguar fans who were counting on Tebow to lead them out of the wilderness? Like the guy on here who posted bare-chested photos of the new and bulked-up Tebow?
