I have to say, aside from the DC, this is the best Defensive Staff I have seen in a while. And really - my biggest gripe with Kiffin is I am a 3-4 fan boy.
I am good with our ST Coach. (Although, I have said that the last few hires).
Offense still vexes me. _________________

I like both the 3-4 and the 4-3 for various reasons because each one has its own unique strengths and weaknesses. As I've said before, I don't care which one we use as long as we dedicate and allocate the appropriate resources to the scheme to ensure its success. We never did that with the 3-4 because we ignore the most important aspect of that defense since implementing it: the NT spot. Ratliff should never have been commissioned to play NT, and, in my opinion, it's the fundamental reason why our defenses continually wore down late in games, fell apart late in the seasons, and couldn't generate turnovers. _________________

That's good new I think. Interesting Robinson didn't retire like many speculated. _________________ I'm a Dallas Fan.

Moving closer and closer to an official announcement of Callahan as OC...
Frank Pollack is the Asst. Offensive Line Coach and Wes Phillips is the Tight Ends coach.
http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/article-NickEatman/Pollack-Joins-Staff-To-Help-Callahan%E2%80%99s-Line-Phillips-To-TE--/e283e309-fae9-451a-8ed3-97a942ee8c1c
| Quote: | Pollack comes to Dallas after one year as the Raiders offensive line coach and the previous five as the assistant line coach in Houston. Pollack actually played for Bill Callahan at Northern Arizona in 1987-88.
Pollack reunites with Callahan, who will remain both offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. It’s expected he will take over the play-calling duties next season. |

So it looks like the only spot we have left to fill is RB correct? Broaddus seems to think we are going after a college coach and are waiting for NSD to be over. Any thoughts on who might be a target? _________________

Played 7 or 8 years, including under Callahan, and was Oakland's OL Coach last year _________________

I put a thread up in Raider Nation to get a little insight to who this guy is.
Think we should do that in Houston Forum as well. _________________

Kinda Happy with Dooley. Thier WR core at Ten. is pretty damn good. _________________
