Ware..Carter..Lee..Spencer
....Hatcher...Ratliff...DE
Then, before the snap, motion into this...
...Carter...Lee...Spencer
Ware..Hatcher..Ratliff...DE
Or vice versa. Obviously, you would not shift on every play. Sometimes you would, sometimes you wouldn't. When you did shift, you would do it right before the snap. That would make it hard for the opposing offense to set their blocking assignments and then have to adjust them after the shift. Rob Ryan is supposed to be a defensive genius. Surely, he can figure out how to make this work.
To make it work, we either need a DE that can play either formation or a real NT and move Ratliff out to DE. |

This was actually going to be my question. It's clear that Redball is the coach going forward, but the staff will be reevaluated.
http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/coaches.html
Who on that list would everyone like to see replaced?
I expect the following are safe:
Mike Woicik
Rob Ryan
Jimmy Robinson
Chris Boniol
Jerome Henderson
Bill Callahan
Matt Eberflus |
As Iong as we keep Rob Ryan, Jimmy Robinson, Jerome Henderson, Bill Callahan and Matt Eberflus I'm happy. |

So the cowboys fired the RB coach and that solves the problem? I guess Red had to blame the brother for something huh! # skip peete |

So nice of him to pull the race card, too. Stay classy, Cray-Cray.

Gee, so much for those big changes. I'm really fed up with the lies and constant sunshine pumping when we all know there are major flaws with the staff and execs. For Christ's sake, stop lying to us. _________________

At this rate, they're making Skip Peete the token patsy for all that ails this team. And it's not as if the failures on offense are on him. He didn't ask Murray to get hurt every time the grass turns green (or brown, or any other color for that matter), or ask Felix Jones to get fat and suck out loud, nor did he recommend that Garrett abandon the running game every time we were down by 7 points. Those issues fall on the "GM" and the head coach. Yet, no changes there. Just the RB coach.
So. Much. Fail. _________________

I don't think this is the only move we will make. The 2012 Season hasn't even come to a close, but I would agree that if Skip Peete is the only coach that is not retained, I will be rather upset.
There are some coaches on this Staff I really like, but much like the Roster, at times you need to churn some of the staff to bring about progress. _________________

Come on Plan. Bringing back a guy that they never said was being let go does not make them liars. There very well could still be changes coming. We just have to wait and see. I don't like it that we are bringing Wade Wilson back, but it is a bit early to be jumping to conclusions that nothing else is going to change. _________________

He might of. It was under Peetes watch that Felix decided to bulk up. _________________

Good point. Perhaps Peete should have clarified that "bulk up" means "add muscle mass" not "eat everything in sight, including the weights used to add muscle". _________________

Curious, perhaps he was taking the Roy Williams approach to a diet? A biscuit with every meal. _________________

And almost on Cue, Micky Spags just said:
