Pettine's contract runs until the end of the NFL season. Thats why the Bills had to request permission to talk to him. Even though Rex has said that Pettine has chosen not to continue with the Jets by turning down a contract offer. Welcome to B-lo Mike, you're D will have to be better than 29th! |
He reportedly turned down an extension during the season. He has already been replaced as DC. |
Was he a 3-4 DC, or was that just what he ran because he was with the Jets? |
He's spent his entire NFL coaching career with the Ravens and Jets, so I would assume so. |

He's been with Rex for years. Even before the Jets. He bleeds 3-4. _________________

So I'll just reiterate then.

I don't fear change anymore. He's run a beast of a defense down there. Not really afraid to change up things on our 29th ranked defense. Nothing to lose. _________________

Dareus played better in a 3-4 and I think Kelvin Sheppard would better fit ILB in a 3-4.
I will say this, if we run a hybrid 3-4 than Jarvis Jones would be perfect. |

Also Jarvis Jones would be a great pick. _________________
