Either way you have to take whatever Andrews says with a grain of salt.

He is an employee by the Washington Redskins. Of course he's going to say great things.

That way people buy season tickets and what not. Do you think If he would have said, RG is done for the year and won't be ready till the 2014 season, people would have been stoked? Of course not. No body is gonna line up and pay good money to watch Cousins.

Derrick did wait a couple weeks before they went ahead with the surgery.

Redskins...thank Dr. Andrews for making up for your coaches stupidity. No seriously. Do it. Fifteen years ago RGIII may have missed next season.

Turns out that Cousins wasnt such a bad pick after all. The Redskins must have figured that they may be needing a steady backup for Griffin given how they envisioned using Griffin.

I swear, people's reading comprehension is getting worse and worse every year. Or maybe people just stop at the headline and never bother reading the actual article.

"We expect a full recovery and it is everybody's hope and belief that due to Robert's high motivation, he will be ready for the 2013 season."

I bolded the part from the article that people seem to have a hard time comprehending. They HOPE he will be 100%. They have that HOPE because of his motivation.

He is speaking like a politician. They are pretty much doing damage control and are trying to say all the right things without lieing

hit the nail on the head. They want to sell tickets and merch. They would be foolish to say RG3 won't be ready. It's all about the dollars.
