They ultimately left it up to RG3, which is likely a poor decision. The player is going to try and play 90% of the time. You should always let the DR decide, IMO. _________________

Tebow to the Skins? Let's start the speculation ahead of ESPN. Awful news, but QBs can't continually take the hits. _________________ I'd Select Ziggy Ansah 1st Overall |

Not even close. Captain Kirk and Sexy Rexy (if he re-signs, which seems likely) can make the most out of this opportunity. We'll sign a FA is necessary and Tebow's probably a Jaguar by this time next year. _________________

I truly hope he's alright. This dude has everything the NFL could ever ask for. Skill, leadership, respect, you name it. This dude easily has what the NFL wants in a "poster boy" and rightfully so.
His injury is bigger than a lose to the Redskins; it's a big blow to the entire league.
Shanahan, on the other hand, is an absolute moron. I hope the NFL comes down very hard on him. There was no reason for him to keep playing. _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

The medical staff is there for this very purpose. _________________

If I were Andrews and they let him in uncleared again, I would not be their on field consultant anymore. _________________

Im sure he did, but its not like that would have meant much.
A: He would not have done a MRI at half time, so there wouldnt be much information.
B: They knew when the game started he was going to play in pain, he had been doing it the previous two weeks. When it wasnt torn at half time, they probably gave him some pain killers and hoped for the best. _________________

Wow this could be a big blow to the Redskins. I hope the guy gets back healthy and in somewhat the same performer he was before the injury. _________________

Apparently they've backed off this claim a little bit. _________________

| Its being reported as a partial tear of the ACL and LCL. May not even need surgery, but still a 6 month (at least) recovery time. |

| Mike should fired. You don't take a chance with your franchise player especially when he was already so banged up. This isn't like a tired arm. Those ligaments were already stretched out. |

Hate to hear that, even if it's for a division rival. I was a big RGIII fan after growing up in Waco and being a closet Bears fan. Hated seeing him go to Washington but would never wish injury upon him. _________________

Hopefully this is true and it's only a partial tear. Might be able to start in the preseason even. _________________
