nether can norwood thats why i want him gone as well. | yeah I don't have any problem with that. Although I think MoMass is better when healthy than Norwood is when healthy. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

Oh yeah agreed momass>norwood. But if you can't stay healthy hang them up. The roster spot is needed for players that can actually stay on the field and contribute. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Giving a 2nd contract to somebody that is an expendable part of an very talented defense sounds kinda risky to me, especially when we already have guys like Rucker and Parker who are at least serviceable and cheaper. |

Alex Smith is certainly a better option than Weeden next year
He's younger, efficient as can be and is improving.
Everyone hates on the ASmith tho _________________

I don't think he's a scrub and I don't want to quit on Weeden.
I think Alex is just a game manager that won't scare a defense _________________

Im on board for another year of weeden but if you think the most tipable ball in the game and all of his picks and what seems to be his newfound gunshy nature scare defenses more than A Smith I think you're mistaken _________________

It blows my mind that Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers are younger than Weeden. Smith sucked for like 6 years and finally started being a good player and is still younger than Weeden. Rodgers is the best player in the NFL.
I hope we get Smith. _________________

Agreed.
I like Weeden, but Smith is the better player at this point without a doubt.
As a side note, I'm finding myself agreeing with you far too much of late. _________________

I do think Smith is underrated because everyone just blindly throws around the word bust.
Yes, he never lived up to expectations of being the #1 pick, but then again those are lofty expectations.
He may be a game manager, but I also think he is a pretty good QB.
Average to above average QB play this past season would have gotten us 8 wins at least. _________________

So long as we have his replacement already lined up. Unfortunately Banner is 0-2 in that regard thus far. _________________

If Mo and Norwood can be brought back for pretty cheap, we should do it. It's good for depth. I'd say under 3 mil for Mo and under 2 for Norwood. _________________
