Sources are telling CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora that Chip Kelly has decided to stay at Oregon rather than accepting the Eagles' offer.
There has been nothing official from Kelly or the school, so don't put it in the books just yet. Showing Brett Favre tendencies as a waffler, Kelly has come close to signing with an NFL team for a second consecutive year only to have noted Oregon booster and Nike co-founder Phil Knight throw more money at him to stay with the Ducks. The Eagles move on with a candidate list that includes Bengals OC Jay Gurden, Broncos OC Mike McCoy, Seahawks DC Gus Bradley, Falcons ST coach Keith Armstrong, Falcons DC Mike Nolan, and Colts OC Bruce Arians.

Looks like he used those NFL teams for free meals and another pay raise
Kind of disappointed about that. Wanted to see in practice if his offense worked or not if fully implemented
Im thinking he never had any intentions of going pro |

Saw this classic quote on Chip Kelly
"Covering Chip Kelly's offseason is a lot like defending his offense. Stay at home. Let the play come to you. Or you'll look like an idiot. " |

If I were chip, I'd stay in Oregon too. Nothing but your own pride and ego in the NFL but there's nothing wrong with being one of the best college coaches. Chip doesn't have to win in the NFL to prove to me he's a great coach |

He wanted the Carolina Panthers job all along. He's just waiting until next year when Ron Rivera is fired. Calling it now |

Well, if this is in fact the final decision, then good. I didn't think he would have been a good fit in Cleveland. Besides, as long as he's there, Oregon should continue to be a powerhouse. _________________ Stan Kroenke listens to Nickelback |

I really think this is truly damaging to any future NFL coaching opps. Left 3 teams at the altar. And really an unproven guy that is very fortunate to have this level of confidence. I cant see teams investing any more time and dinner tabs on him. _________________
