Best GM we had. Lots of talent on our team because of him.
I want to watch the team how signs him.
Let's see if Hamlems boner for Banner is better.
We are ducked.
We had a good thing going.
Title Updated- we can use this to discuss potential GM's

Sure you can. You can bring back Dwight Clark. Or Bernie. Just make sure the mini bar is stocked though. _________________ “From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renenwed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.” -- J R R Tolkien LOTR |

| Just for discussion's sake, if Heckert did such a fantastic job here, why haven't teams been falling all over themselves to bring him in for an interview? |

He had an interview with New York scheduled and canceled it to likely join Reid in KC _________________

He cancelled it because he didn't want to deal with cap hell. _________________

No big deal though. Plenty of enough high caliber coaches left that we can work on GMs later _________________

I know who we should get, wait for it....... One that's done pretty good the last couple of years and the team he was GM of has gotten much better players. Not so many wins but a young team with a lot of talent is the Cleveland Browms ex GM Tom Heckett.
WOW Banner is a BONEHEAD so far.
I'll bet a lot of us will be watching very carefully where Heckett goes and paying attention to their roster the next couple of years.
I wish Banner could admit when he made a mistate because obviously he is scrambling now and Hamlem is watching wondering if he himself has make a bonehead mistate. Time will tell.
Why is it a new owner always has to think he needs new people. I mean he just bought an NFL team for 1 Billion $ and the first thing he thinks he needs to do is change everything.
Someone put the dude smacking his head against the wall here. _________________ In the years to come, The Browns will win the SUPER BOWL again, and AGAIN. |

So no matter who we get at GM and HC, are you just gonna sulk around? _________________

Didn't say that.
Just really dunno how we're gonna find a good personnel guy by hiring our HC 1st when our HC is looking to be a bottom tier guy... _________________
