That's true. Glennon had the most drops of any QB last year. NCST had horrible receivers, especially their TE. That guy is/was awful. |
If we take him it shouldn't be at #7. I don't see who would draft him if he gets past the Jets at #9. _________________

Oh I absolutely wouldn't be happy with Glennon at #7. I said in my scouting report thread that I'd be thrilled he we took him in the 2nd round. However, I'd be just as happy if we were able to trade back in the 1st (20's or later), draft him there, and accumulate extra picks. That may be an even better scenario. Finding a trade partner is improbably of course. |

If Warmack is at #7 it would be hard to move back and lose him. Maybe the Jets would wanna jump Buffalo for Wilson and we end up taking Warmack at #9 with an extra 3rd. Dreaming is free. _________________

As good as Warmack is, seriously, what is the chance that he goes in the top 10? We thought DeCastro would go top 10 last year as he was one of the best prospects in the whole draft and that didn't happen. A guard hasn't been drafted in the top 10 in decades... _________________

Months before the draft it's easy to say "lets take Warmack @ #7" but you're probably right. Once the QB's start getting hyped and defenders blow away the athletic drills I think CW could slip.
I'd still take him though. I want our OL to be physical like the Niner's... _________________

I don't like Geno is this offense, not near as athletic and many make him out the be. I don't really like the fit of Wilson either. I am not a fan of Glennon, Barkley would be laughable in this offense.
The guy I want is Zac Dysert from Miami (OH) |
Can you please pass on him? He needs to be a Jet. K, thanks. |

I like Dysert, he reminds me of Romo. He'll shoot up the boards and go before #38 IMO... The Bills or Jets could even pull a shocker at #8-9. If we want a QB we might have to reach at 7. _________________

If Bruce Arians sees "Ben Roethlisberger" as most comparable NFL player on Dysart.. I wouldn't be shocked to see him get picked by Arizona. |

Well they're both Redhawks.
Methinks our resident scout should do a writeup on him... _________________

Not all that well right now. Nassib has a downright ugly deep ball. He seems to have one velocity at times too which could be an issue. But with a deep ball like Nassib's his value in an Arians offense drops. _________________

Then it seems to me like Glennon is the best fit for Arians, but no one feels comfortable taking him at #7. If they believe he's the franchise QB, they might have to take him earlier. I do believe that Glennon's stock will rise before the draft. _________________

I prefer Dysert's deep ball to Glennons right now. _________________

I want to see how all QBs interview with the new staff.
Intelligence is going to help alot, above and beyond deep balls etc.
We need to transition quickly to get this team back to the top. |
