Andy Reid is an average coach that is simply fortunate to have been taught a successful method of running a franchise by Holmgren and Walsh. He's fortunate to have chosen the right defensive coordinator in Jim Johnson and he was fortunate in the defensive personnel moves that were made prior to him becoming the head coach of the Eagles. He was fortunate to have drafted Donovan McNabb. Where he isn't average is in coaching the QB position. He is really good in coaching guys up to be cookie cutter high quality passers within his simplistic offensive system that doesn't have hot reads. Andy Reid drafts the defensive side of the ball of which he has zero idea of what he is doing. He has his way of doing things on that side of the ball and it's totally moronic. You better hope that the players that are already on the roster of the Chiefs combined with the defensive coordinator that he hires can get it done because Reid will surely gradually deplete the talent level on that side of the ball. Andy Reid probably is the worst evaluator of defensive talent ever in the history of pro football.
It is a sure thing that the overall talent level of the Chiefs will suffer, unless Andy gets fortunate... Andy's success is based upon fortune and an old 80's-90's Holmgren/Walsh way of doing things offensively combined with being totally ignorant defensively even though he acquires the defensive players. If the Chiefs don't turn it around fast, it's a guarantee that they will not turn it around at all under Reid and he will continue to be exposed as a head coach that was simply fortunate over the first half of his career with the Eagles. |

This is so true. Especially about the drafting. Drafting Kendricks when Janoris Jenkins was on the board... ughhh. I am surprised that choice hasn't gotten more flack. I mean, Kendricks was ok for the first half of the season, but Jenkins was outstanding with the Rams and looks to be an elite corner in the near future. |

Jenkins was taken before kendricks. And LB was a huge need. _________________

He's asian he killed the dog and ate it for breakfast.
But back on topic. Andy Reid is a bad game day coach and a bad gm. So good luck. _________________

Don't. You're increasing your chance of getting stroke by lighting. _________________
