No way the Jaguars would do that in real life, they are a rebuilding team. No need to get stuck with that kind of contract on a player that doesn't deserve that much. _________________

Yeah... I've bid 2.0M on Gosder Cherilus instead... actually graded out better according to the raw PFF numbers.
Not sure if he will get along with Jared though. _________________

TJ Conley, on Twitter: “I’m extremely exited [sic] and proud to say that I am now a member of the Minnesota Vikings!”
Frazier said on Tuesday that Kluwe will undergo surgery to repair the meniscus in his left knee. An NFL source said on Wednesday the surgery is scheduled for Jan. 31 and the recovery time could range from a couple weeks to a couple months, depending what doctors find.
The Vikings won't begin organized team activity practices until May. Kluwe is entering the final year of his contract, with a scheduled base salary of $1.4 million and a $50,000 workout bonus due in 2013.

Not sure if this goes here or not, but is their any recent update on Greg Childs??
Came across an old arkansas game (2010 vs Auburn, 12catches 164yds 2TD's) on ESPN Classic and man this guy balled
Although, I know it may be a pipe dream to see him on the field anytime soon or at all but just thought id see if anyone knew how he was doing in his rehab |

There was an article on 1500 ESPN a few days ago about him. He says that his rehab is coming along, didn't go into huge detail, but plans to be playing next year and contributing. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews

I can't imagine that Kluwe is surprised. I'm sure Frazier and Priefer are growing tired of the act, but he's still a good punter. However, with the knee injury and the media overkill, it only makes sense that they bring someone in to compete with him. _________________

the last quote completely baffles me. I dont expect to hand out 70 million dollar deals like its candy but with a lot of cap space i expect more than what we did last year |

We have an average amount of cap space, not a lot. _________________

we have enough to do more than we did last year. And with the anticipated restructuring of a couple contracts that number will grow |

Correct, we will have more than last year.
That's why I expect 1 big signing. However, if this team truly does want to model themselves off of Green Bay they will take the rest of the money and roll it into their current players.
Harvin, if he stays, needs an extension and will be in the 8-10M range
Loadholt is likely going to command 4-6M per year
Felton is going to be in the 2-3M range
Sanford is in for a raise
Allen, Griffen, and Robison are all free agents after next year. _________________

| Throw in depth signings, maybe one of the starting LBs (Brinkey or Henderson), money will be hard to come by. A lot of players need new deals, but there could be room for one big signing. Will it happen, who knows. The Vikes had a fairly big signing financially in Carlson last year. |

From those quotes, here's what I see happening to some of the guys mentioned:
Percy: Extension (something I didn't see happening a week ago)
Griffen: Extension
Carlson: Stays
Simpson: Resign (1-2 yrs)
Felton: Resign (2-3 yrs)
Loadholt: Resigns (Sounded iffy though)
Kluwe: Stays _________________
