If the Eagles can't find a suitable trading partner for Nnamdi, do you think your team will cut him?
I know he hasn't played up to his contract, but I would like to possibly bring him back to Oakland.
Thanks
(also, is Foles penciled in to be your starting QB next year?) _________________ If the Raiders don't trade back at 3, I want Fisher, Ziggy, or Star. |

Depends on if he was part of the locker room problems.
Either takes a pat cut or is cut.
Foles is penciled in, I suppose, but it depends on why the new coach wants. _________________

For both it really depends on the coach...
Right now Foles is....but if the new coach comes in and drafts his own guy then obviously probably not.
Nnamdi I could see staying if he restructures, which he said he would. Especially if Zimmer is the guy I think maybe he could help Nnamdi out. _________________

Nnamdi mentioned he would be willing to take a pay cut, FWIW. _________________

Aging player that is declining, and we don't have a Zimmer who is a a miracle secondary worker, better to release him. And Nnamdi's name was mentioned in the usual suspects thread _________________

Wasn't Nnamdi the one chirping to the media about Juan Castillo's playcalling on defense? He's absolute garbage.
Nnamdi has been HORRIBLE for the past two seasons. He's finished. I wouldn't keep him unless he restructured from $14m to the veteran minimum. Other then that, he can go play in Detroit next season. No one's gonna give us anything for the highest paid CB in the NFL who can't run, can't cover, and is extremely penalty prone. He got benched for Curtis Marsh for christ sakes.
No thanks. Cut him and take your losses. Nnamdi as a starting CB = 4-12 again next season. |

None of that really proves he was a locker room problem though.. _________________

I wouldn't mind taking him back if he accepts a pay cut. Nnamdi and DRC were both disappointing, but I'd hate to roll into a season with Brandon Boykin and Curtis Marsh as my starting corners (considering we don't draft one). _________________

He was so bad this year. I don't think he's worth a penny. _________________

I'd be curious to see how he and Dom perform under a new coaching staff and attitude. Could make a difference. For better or, well it can't get any worse. Obv, pay cut. Regardless, wouldn't feel comfortable getting rid of both. Feels funny saying that having just said it can't get any worse, though. _________________ Respect is not given, it is earned. --Brian Dawkins |

The locker room problems came from his lack of accountably on his own play. He has been terrible the past two seasons, and he has found a way to blame everything but himself. Whether it was blaming the others in the secondary for his blown coverage or blaming the play calling for giving up big plays, he always seemed to place blame on others. Many have also speculated that he never really bought into Andy Reid's system. I believe he is a cancer and that he really just has to go. (Unless we get Zimmer, I wouldn't mind seeing what he could do with him). |

I may be in the minority on this, but I do believe there is something to say for the putrid safety play affecting his own play. Far too many times it seemed that Scrabble should have had help over the top or someone didn't get to their zone. It just seemed that the safeties and the cornerbacks were rarely on the same page in terms of man vs zone, and even when they were, the execution simply wasn't there.
I'd be willing to give Scrabble a pass, as long as we bring in a new system and better safeties. Don't get me wrong, though, Scrabble has not played up his pay. _________________
