Yeah I'll keep that in mind for sure.
And @packrules7896, yeah I think we will be fine next week. Kapernick is playing in his first ever playoff game and both sides of the ball for us are playing with way more intensity and emotion now than we were early on in the season. The Niners do have a tougher run defense though and it will put just a little more pressure on Rodgers to not take as many sacks, but I think he gets the job done.
@Ramonesfan: I'll follow CWood's instruction and decline to start any fan wars as he pointed out, but it's definitely true that Ponder would not have won the game for the Vikings. He was okay against us last week, but history has shown he doesn't usually have 2 sharp games back to back, plus the amount of pressure we were getting on Webb tonight was a big part of the mistakes we forced on him. Pretty sure CP gets dropped for a few sacks too if he's back there.

On the way home from the game now. Hammered. More thoughts come later.
But the crowd was loud. Intense. Where I was no one sat at all. A fan or two was warned because I guess you can't stand at Lambeau anymore. WHICH IS DUMB. _________________

That was an option?
...still can't cheer for purple though. | Huh? If we lose that game what are my other options at living in this state and everybody else being Vikings fans around me and me trying to live a normal life after losing a home playoff game to them. I wouldn't be able to live in that world. |

Good game gentleman, and best wishes next week. I liked that Dujuan Harris guy much more as a car salesman. _________________

Well, good game tonight Cheeseheads. Not much to say other than to say that you have the better team at this point. Best of luck the rest of the way.
As for my Vikings, I still consider it a darn good season. We went into it thinking we would have another year of rebuilding, but ended up making the playoffs. Not bad actually.
The Packers are proof what you can do with a great quarterback though. Nowadays you just can't get by without one. About all I can do is hope Ponder continues to improve and turns out to be half decent.
Like 31 of the league's 32 teams always say at the end of their season - see you next year! _________________

- Dujuan Harris would have 8 less yards from scrimmage than Adrian Peterson
- Cobb would only have 1 catch
- Michael Jenkins would have the most yards receiving
- All of the Packers TDs would come from running backs
- Clay Matthews would sack a QB by laying on the ground |
That was on the first offensive play of the game for GB, right?
Wasn't thrilled to see the offense stall so much after the first drive of the third quarter but not a whole lot to complain about here. 3-14 on 3rd downs and 2.5 YPC aren't great but a lot of that low YPC number has to do with running the ball just for the sake of running the ball in the second half.
I do like the fact that the Packers were tested with a running quarterback a week before they're tested with a better-throwing running quarterback. _________________

Also, Rodgers' throw to Jordy rolling out to his right on the sideline ... only one man in the world can make that throw. _________________

You know, Ponder, the guy that most Vikings fans wanted benched for Spud Webb earlier this season....

of their fans... |
Some of them can be insufferable. We have a couple of them down here who I won't want to talk to for a day or two. _________________

After the last couple of home playoff games they might have been holding their collective breath like I was down here. _________________

| Was awesome to watch at a Packer bar in Minnesota. Big ups to Newhouse I think, maybe I was too drunk but he seemed to play his best game as a Packer today. |

Minnesota had the game of their life and barely squeaked by us at their place. We had an average game (by GB offense standards) and completely demolished them.
I don't care if Ponder or Webb was in there. That was a big time playoff atmosphere and the Vikings were not ready. Obviously the disparity in QB showed itself heavily in this one. If we shut down AP (yes 99 yards is shutting him down), I doubt Ponder would have won them the game. Would he have outplayed Rodgers? I highly, highly doubt it.
Overall, it went like I expected. With my sim, I originally had it 23-17 GB with Ponder in, so I'll take it. _________________
