2008 - 9/23 (39%) 135 yds, 0 td, 0 int
2009 - 4/10 (40%) 34 yds. 0 td, 1 int
2010 - 25/34 (74%) 265 yds, 2 td, 0 int
2011 - 14/27 (52%) 176 yds, 2 td, 0 int
TOTAL - 52/94 (55%), 610 yds, 4 td, 1 int
that's flacco. In one less game, Ryan has almost as many yards and a way better comp %
2008 - 26/40 (65%) 199 yds, 2 td, 2 int
2010 - 20/29 (69%) 186 yds. 1 td, 2 int
2011 - 24/42 (59%) 199 yds, 0 td, 0 int
TOTAL - 70/111 (63%) 584, 3 td, 4 int
Give the Falcons an opponent that isn't heading to the super bowl and yeah. Matt Ryan also looks to have finally taken that next step too. _________________

Not sure where you got the Flaccos stats from, but here they are for the post season stats for Flacco from the Ravens website.
2009 24/45 (53.3%) 223 yards 0 TDs 3 INT
2010 41/64 (64.1%) 390 yards 3 TDs 1 INT
2011 36/63 (57.1%) 482 yards 4 TDs 1 INT
Total - 101/172 (58.7%) 1,095 yards 7 TDs 5 INT (5-4 W/L record)
He's actually gotten better every year. His completion % fell from 2010 to 2011, but drops also factor into that. The 2009 stats you posted for him I believe are just from the game against the Patriots, which the Ravens won even though he only threw 10 times. They just ran all over the Patriots. I think Matt Ryan has better weapons around him than Flacco, and maybe this will be the year the Falcons step up in the Playoffs, but right now, I'll stick with Flacco. I think both are gonna be the QBs of their teams for years to come though. _________________ (NFL: Ravens) (NBA: Celtics)

| I'm not sure a favorable comparison to Flacco, whether founded or not, is reason enough to be convinced of Ryan's growth. Flacco isn't exactly the measuring stick for where you're trying to go with this. Just sayin... |

My opinion as well. People like to compare them because they are from the same draft class, but I really don't care. There's no doubt in my mind as to who I would rather have at QB, playoff wins or not. I will take Ryan any day of the week. _________________
