Last I seen we have around 20 mil to spend in the salary cap. We were in the top 3 a few months ago and I don't see how that would have changed. _________________

I two have thought of scenarios where Stewart is pushed into an OG spot. Draft the Texas A&M guy...win....
Or
Get Stingly on the field, He did ok at RT I heard. Solidify the LG with a draft pick behind or to repalce Hutchinson or sign Levitre to replace and move with it.
But if we are doing personal shopping lists, not what I think the Titans would do, then I would do:
Sign Mike Wallace- WR
(If Cook walks) Go after Keller or Brandon Meyers
Give Levitre whatever he wants
Sign Tim Dobbins (Frank Bush Connection)
Sign Antione Cason at CB
Sign Dashon Goldson ( Give him whatever he wants)
Recap
Levitre- OG (BIG MONEY)
Tim Dobbins- MLB (Low-Mid level Money)
Antione Cason- CB (Low-Mid Level Money)
Dashon Goldson=S (BIG MONEY)
Dustin Keller/Brandon Meyers- TE (Mid level Money)
Draft
DT, DE, OG, DE, RB, WR |

It seems we all agree that we NEED Levitre lol
I hope the staff sees the same need unlike they did last year. _________________

Don't really have the room to get two big money guys, mid level guys, sign all of our picks, and have room to not be in cap hell in the following years. If we can get rid of Griffin that would free up some room.
Or possibly that small guy in the backfield with the long hair. I don't think we should do this as he is the face of our team right now to those outside Titania and the only offensive positive we seem to have buttttt... Running backs are a dime a dozen. Give that money to offensive linemen instead of the runningback and pick up some kid out of college and give him the rock.
That's what I would do. |

Yes, let's sign 4-5 people to 7-10 million dollar a year contracts all while signing our own draft picks, signing Jared Cook, and signing Velasco. We'll use signing bonuses and make all the contracts back-heavy so we're in cap hell in 3-4 years when our young QB could possibly be ready to make a playoff run!
Seems to be the earlier theme.
Louis Vasques, Cook, Velasco, Leutui, Bironas and a mid-level DE. |

For me after more thought...
it's either Vasquez or Levitre at OG
Velasco as an RFA
Coo
Mid level to back end LB, S and CB.
Draft
Early: OG, CB or S and DT/DE
Mid OG/C, CB or S and RB
Late: DE or DT and LB |

The cheap DE we could sign played for us towards the end of last year and did ok and that was Jarius Wynn. But my only question is why dont you want to try and sign a FA Saftey before drafting one? Im not saying your wrong im just curious. Im sure someones out there thats better than what we can draft in the 4th round _________________

I'd be alright with this. I'd switch your 4th and 7th rounds around and switch out Lattimore with Zac Stacy. I am not a fan of tall, skinny legged runningbacks. Give me the short, bowling ball types. |

Lattimore is far from that. He's the best built back in this draft. And then you bring up Stacy who exactly what you mentioned in skinny. _________________

Skinny legged I said. My arms are bigger around that Lattimore's legs. Not to mention he runs more upright making him appear longer. Stacy is 5'8 and only weighs 8 lbs less. Stacy has thick thighs. Not MJD thick, but better than Lattimore's. |
