Only question or thing I am worried about for my own well being is do teams coaching still setup interviews? In the past we have drafted at least 1-2 players a year we setup interviews with. |
Of course. Our scouts will be the only NFL scouts there along with the staff from the other side. We will have total access to each and every player for as long as we like. And we can see these kids when they are off the field in their normal state and not all geeked up for an inteview. This is huge for our scouting. |
Yes I know this and from a team aspect that is awesome.
I was mainly wondering from our (Fan) aspect if we will be hearing "raiders interviewed so and so" like in years past. |

| Just looked at the south roster. Their OL is stacked with talent. Should be a good test for all our DL especially Hunt. |

Beast.
He'll likely move up on draft boards. |

I really like that they are coaching Dysert and Nassib, same with Hunt and Okafor. _________________

K. Short has a large wingspan for a guy who is 6'3".
Also our DL coach likely recruited this kid to Purdue. |

| Quote: | | Central Michigan OT Eric Fisher stood out today (as he did on film) with 10 3.8 inch hands, 82+ inch wingspan, and at 6'7, 305. He should impress all week the way he did on Monday morning. |
If we could trade down to the anywhere around 15# I'd be all over Fisher. Road grader with great feet in pass protection. Level of competition the only knock, gets to the 2nd level so well.

I think someone will trade up before San Diego's pick to get him... |

Yeah I think you are right. He absolutely walled off Alex Okafor today, great practice by all accounts.
I am honestly edging towards wanting him with our first unless Star is there. I think he is that good. _________________

A few guys who looked good today (from what i saw on the NFLN broadcast):
Eric Fisher, OT - He was by far the most impressive Olineman, handling all dlinemen with relative ease.
Alex Okafor, DE - Best DE from what i saw. He's the only one who didn't look overmatched against Fisher.
Datone Jones, DE - Very quick for his size.
David Quessenberry, OG - I thought he did a good job in pass pro.
Desmond Trufant, CB - Fluid backpedal and breaks.
On a side note, Jason Tarver looks like a fun coach to play for. _________________

Yeah I only saw little bits but Quessenberry looked very good at OG as well. Not sure I would want us to spend a 2nd rounder on a guard though. _________________

We don't have a 2nd so it doesn't matter much right now. |
