So we would be here talking about hiring another coach probably. |
His defense wasn't crap. Had terrible CBs his 1st year and the defense improved the 2nd year. Ryan being let go is a scapegoat for their offense with the turnovers and not being able ti run the ball. Jones loves Garrett. |
But his defenses couldn't stop anyone. This is the 2nd place where he got canned or simply let go. When will the excuses stop? It always seems to be someone else's fault with this guy. _________________

His defense gets exhausted from the offense. Romo was in the top 5 in turnovers age past 2 years and Cleveland's offense can't move the chains. He improves every D he takes over. Even ours. The Al Davis prevent defense point is valid. Al has put that in all the DCs that have been here the past decade. I'm not saying he's the best guy but there but his defenses are usually in the top 10 vs the pass even with us. I mean we had 4-3 guys trying to play a 3-4. Sapp at DE for example.
Also he hasn't been getting canned. The entire staff from Cleveland and here were gone. Just new coaches and GMs bringing in their own staffs. This was the only time he was let go by his self. Its a scape goat for Dallas to keep Garrett. _________________

Mike McCoy got SD's HC gig.

I like this collusion
SD probably has to blow things up in a lot of places, which takes them out of contention for a little while. KC is starting over too. Denver will become weaker after this, especially after Manning retires. We have a one year head start, although the other teams already had more talent to begin with. But I'll take what I can get.
Love Denver's coaches getting poached. Not just because it hurts them, but they honestly deserved a chance somewhere. Maybe they got HC gigs while they were a bit too green, but still I feel like they at least warranted consideration. |

Trestman is reportedly a finalist for HC in Chicago. Not sure how that will impact us looking at him for OC. I mean, if he gets that gig then he obviously won't take OC here. But if he doesn't, would he stick with Montreal as HC and hold out for another shot at a NFL HC job?

Maybe. He's getting a lot of endorsing from Steve Young. Was a candidate here numerous times so I think his chances are getting better and better. _________________

Saw on FB that Wisenhunt could be the OC in Denver. Thoughts? _________________ First jersey purchased: Jamarcus Russell.

Being OC for Peyton Manning is probably the easiest gig in football. Wiz will prob learn more than teach. He's too conservative aside for the gadget plays he was known for in Pitt. _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |
