Jacksonville’s two GM finalists are Falcons director of player personnel Dave Caldwell and Cardinals director of player personal Steve Keim.

Not sure which is the front runner or what the timetable for a hire is but that's where owner Shad Khan is leaning apparently. Be interesting to see who he goes with.

From what we have seen is it is all on Caldwell at this point. But Shad doesn't let this stuff out so it is hard to tell.

It was scheduled for this Thursday I believe, day of the Fiesta Bowl.

Interesting, that was a "blackout" period on all of his planes.
Any idea how long he was there?

but he declined there second interview to pursue nyj further. seems he really wants to work for the jets... oddly enough

Yeah, I am somewhat surprised Gamble would want to be interjected into the never-ending frenzy that is the New York media machine.

I'm guessing that he turned it down. Like you said, his resume speaks for itself. I think he's waiting on a marquee job to open up. |
