Of the names currently available to vote on Jay Gruden is the only coach for which I have lower regard than Chip Kelly.

Wasn't it Cowher and his SB ring? Could be wrong though.

That does seem familiar now that I think about it. Either he or Jon Gruden, now that you mention it.

Kelly has no NFL experience, no college national championship, and doesn't run a pro style NFL system. I view him as a joke of a candidate. WTF qualifies the guy to coach in the NFL? How well have Oregon players done in the NFL? When you begin investigating him as a HC candidate then he looks like a joke, but when you are the type that just follows the crowd then the excitement that surrounds the Oregon program can entrap you into believing that Chip Kelly has some qualifications that are exceptional for the NFL game. The reality is that every indication is that he has multiple red flags for being a failure in the NFL.

Well put.

O'Brien not on your short list because you don't want him as a Eagles HC? Or because you don't want him to leave the Penn? Just curious? Wink

That and.

I honestly expect O'Brien will remain at Penn State. If things are good, he'll be seen as a hero there, if they are bad, no one is going to hire him.

I love how the Rick Dennison train went from full blown to a complete stop - haven't heard his name mentioned for any coaching jobs in some time.

What's the hype with McCoy though? Are we really going to act like he deserves most credit for their offense this year? Seriously he had one of the GOATs at quarterback. I applaud him for being able to implement a system similar to the Colts but I think we all know Manning has more to do with their success. Outside of this year have the Broncos have never boasted an impressive offense, just a lulzy stat padding Orton-Lloyd combo and then Tebow. Just don't understand what is so appealing about Mike McCoy, and I'm sure there is a reason I'm missing which I'd like to hear.
