I like that the Browns are favored, I don't like that he's taking other interviews. I did hear however that Belichick told Kelly that Cleveland was the place to go, so we have that working for us

I don't like this at all.

Wouldn't you, as a sanity check if for no other reason?

Depends on my motives

If I'm looking for money, I go to Cleveland
If I'm looking for a roster setup for what I do, I go to Eagles or Bills

I don't know right now to be honest, I feel like we have a decent offense setup with plenty of money to spend in FA to get the guys he'd want. We have a superior OL to all of them, although the Bills are close. In terms of overall talent, both Bills and Eagles likely are further along than us

I've set myself up for a letdown at this point though, I'm all in on Kelly, anyone else would suck for me

The fact that Haslam and Banner have been camped out in Arizona for a week to get first crack at Kelly tells me they'd be in the same boat as me if they don't land him

Seven hours and walking away just looks horrible. I don't think they could agree. Crying or Very sad

It is what it is

I never felt like Cleveland had a chance anyway.

I'll only be upset if we land a nobody or Ray Horton

On the flipside, Kelly did say in his press conference lastnight that he's going to use the next few days to listen and make his move based off of that. I suppose the other interviews were inevitable in that regard because he has to do his due diligence as well. A 7 hour meeting could be good or bad, depending on what was said as these other teams likely won't get that long to say something wrong

Thats what happens when Banner tries to force Colt McCoy on someone.

I kid I kid. I just said that because of the latest rumors. If I were Kelly I wouldn't want that loser either.

Look, a lot of things enter the equation.

Is he married? Then he has to clear or have cleared all this with his wife, family.

Do things "click" with the reps of the other teams?

Can the other teams display a "vision" he can buy into?

Etc.

As big a decision for him as for the Browns.

He needs just as much to know it's right for him as the Browns know it's right for them.

I think him visiting the teams can land him so more money. I think in the end he signs with Cleveland.

I could see him being nice and hearing the other teams offers and being nice and declining them in person

Chip is not married. He doesn't have kids. He loves football and his players.

god I hope not. Chip Kelly would be a better fit for the browns than Saban

Did anyone else just see that umpire back pedal and land on his butt before the action even started? haha

made my night

I'm an umpire myself. I have taken some crazy hits and knocked over but never on my own doing. That is just embarrasing lol
