The only thing I like about Colon is he gave an interview on a local pa radio station and he talked about a game in San Diego when one of their defensive lineman grabbed his family jewels, the next play Ben starts giving the play he said he yelled hell with that we're getting his a. I read that last sentence like 5 or 6 times and I'm still not sure what you meant. _________________

but he get revenge on yellow flags a lot too I think he needs to move on, and lets hope this team next year has the approach and success with the running game/OL that they has vs skins, giants and bungles. Our season was essentially 3 games of steeler football, the rest might have well been arians kugler or whatnot
Starks, draft pick/UFA ,mo, DD, Adams
Foster is OK but will probably get a decent contract elsewhere.
T-rex is a back up
Beachum is a good RT back up (really played well ) can he play OG?
Gilbert is the versatile back up that didn't have a good season. Played better as a rookie with one arm for some reason
77 is the one on the dog house that 34 was in this year. |

| Quote: | Steelers placed RT Marcus Gilbert (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Gilbert hadn't played since Week 6 and wasn't getting any better, so the Steelers shut him down. A 2011 second-round pick out of Florida, Gilbert has been a solid starting right tackle when healthy. He'll face competition to retain the job in 2013 from Mike Adams, assuming Adams isn't moved to the left side. Gilbert is also cost effective, due only $668,402 in base salary next year. Excellent job on the write-up Hitman. Nice analysis. However, I strongly disagree with your opinion on Colon. The other guys nailed every aspect on why he needs to be exorcised from the team.
The voting pretty much says it all in regards to him. _________________

I would be livid if they took who many consider, at best, the third ranked guard in the draft. Now I do like him but definitely not to be selected in the first round. _________________

Thanks for reading and the comments. The forum has changed my mind on "Sweet D@#$ Willie" Colon. I didn't get into details about his contract, but he would definatey have to take a pay cut if he stayed. The rest I have to agree with the over-whelming majority of the forum.
I am more inclined to try to see the Steelers upgrade at OG. I am not a fan of Foster starting either. I think he would be more effective as a back-up. Again, if the money isgood keep him, if not, go elsewhere. _________________ "Being a Steeler fan starts when the sperm meets the egg!" -- Unknown Steeler Fan

I'll gladly make any bet with you that his value is easily first round. I'd go further to say that he may be the best guard in this draft and am certain that he is far better than Jonathan Cooper.
Those same rankings that you're quoting also stated Geno Smith as the #1 prospect for most of the year. Oh yeah Quinton Coples they all had as #1 last year? They are mostly copy cats...and are by no means the bible on the draft. _________________

Well, it wasnt a completely inaccurate comparison.
Both have the same bra size and both suck at what they do. _________________
