Fire Ron Rivera
Hire Chip Kelly
Sign S Jarius Byrd
Draft Star Louteli with 1st pick (falls/FF mock draft has us getting him also)
Trade Williams or Stewart for 2nd/3rd round pick
Trade Beason but nothing for less than a first which is questionable with him coming off 2 season ending injuries
Draft a solid OT in 2nd round |

I think we'd be fools to trade Beason. His two injuries aren't to the same body part, and his achilles has now had plenty of time to heal. I think his perceived value is much lower than his real value. It does somewhat pain me to imagine one of our 4 great backers on the bench, but we have to be realistic about the possibility that one of them will get injured. We don't want to go from having 4 great LBs to 2.
Also let's keep Rivera. We're getting way too impatient as a fan base and have utterly unrealistic expectations for what Chip Kelly or any new coach could come in and do. I used to think Rivera wasn't that smart, but I've been becoming slowly convinced that he actually is. Our late-game problems can be chalked up to inexperience on Rivera's part and poor execution, not Rivera having no potential to be a decent coach ever. |

Would be lucky to get a 4th for Beason considering his injury and contract _________________

Keep Rivera, changing coaches will only set us back.
Hire Norv Turner as offensive coordinator, move Chud to TE coach.
Trade DeAngelo for a 4th round and 6th round draft picks
Trade Stewart for a 3rd round draft pick
Restructure Beason or trade for a 3rd and 5th round draft picks.
Cut Nakamura and Gamble (salary cap casualty).
Draft heavily on both lines.
Some draft picks could be future years. We have to clean up the Hurney messes and start accumulating draft picks. |

We could get possibly a second for Stew _________________

I can't picture Norv Turner wanting to work for Ron Rivera. I know they worked together for a while in SD, but really, Rivera worked for Norv not the other way around. I don't see that happening.
Get rid of Stew and D-Will? So who exactly is going to run the Football for us in your bizarre fantasy?
Cut Gamble? Why? He's our best player in the secondary. Without him we haven't got much in the way of starting CBs. Don't get me started on Josh Norman, the guy is mediocre at best and should be playing Nickel. We need a true solid #2 CB to go with Gamble. _________________

Getting a 3rd already fits the "dream" scenario. In a more realistic situation, we'd get a 4th for Stew, a 4th for Beason, and a 7th for Williams. _________________

Keep Rivera... How many years are left on his contract?
Fire Chud- Hire Norv or Shurmur
Sign or Trade for a WR (Wallace) or sign a guy like Jennings or Bowe.
Draft a combination of Matt Elam and Taylor Lewan/Jonathan Hankins or best WR if he dont sign one. _________________

Cutting Williams only saves against the cap if done after June 1. Cutting Stewart doesn't save money against the cap. _________________

We would have to draft heavy in secondary and RB in this case _________________

Trade Williams or Stewart. I dont care what we get, we just need draft picks.
Keep Rivera if Chip Kelly goes elsewhere.
Resign Captain.
Restructure Gamble and Beason or cut them.
Dont resign Jimmy.
Hankins in 1st round or trade back if he isnt there. Try to grab another 2nd or 3rd by trading back.
2nd round. I dont see Matt Elam slipping, so maybe Reid in the 2nd. If not OT.
Kicker in 4th or 5th, the UF or FSU kid.
If we can clear up cap room, id love Jennings or Bowe obviously.
Maybe look at Randy Starks in FA to fill DT hole. _________________

Jimmy has 1 year left with no advantage to cutting really. D Anderson is a FA _________________
