Either we made a big mistake somewhere or they did...
They report 19,5M cap space without the 2012 roll over...
Maybe they are not counting for example Seymour as a dead money factor... |
After going over the list of cap space I want to know how the cheapskates get away with it? Bengals, Browns, Buccaneers and Colts. Well, I've heard the Bengals are real cheapskates. Wasn't Palmer there? |

sweet we are in ok shape... especially once we void
McClain and Seymours deal...
Cut
Kelly
Restructure
Palmer, Huff, DHB, Brisel
we should have more more then 30 million to play with:
Holes at these starting spots:
TE, RT, G AND G, NT, DE, MLB, CB and CB
we need 9 new starts
Hopefully we bring back:
Wheeler, Phillip Adams, Hansen, Bryant
maybe Myers
hopefully we can add 3-4 young starters in FA and 3 starters via draft |

Since when is McClain's contract being voided? Last I heard its a cut with us taking a cap hit. |

the running style for the ZB is much different then before make hole run through fast as possible. Running a ZB requires patience you have wait for your hole open up and then speedup through it or sometimes you have holes but you bob and weev to the hole. |

Zone only sucks if you have bad coaching and players who don't fit it. Oh yeah, and if your RB sucks in it and only plays about 9 games a year while getting paid like he's been ballin outrageous.
I remember Chris Colinsworth speaking on Lynch and how Seattle's staff said Lynch's feet are as fast and nimble as his eyes.
I think our Oline can do well in the zone honestly, but our RB's? BLEH! _________________

| It's crazy that in 6 players who do next to nothing in making this team any better - Tyvon, Huff, McClain, Kelly, Brisiel, Bey, - we have about half of our cap paid out to them. |

If I'm McKenzie I'm giving Brisiel and Branch another chance. Releasing Kelly, McClain and Bey. Try to get Palmer, McFadden and Huff to restructure. Re-sign Veldheer and Houston before their value raises, then go after the rest of the FA's we have and try to find some help on defensive line in FA. _________________

I might keep McClain around if we go to a 3-4 defense though, but I don't know what his attitude is actually like at the facility. I just don't like the idea of giving up on a 40 million dollar investment without first putting him in a position to succeed, most of us knew McClain was too big and slow to play MLB in a 4-3. If I knew what actually went down with him at practice I would probably have a different opinion though. _________________
