Does anyone have any strong info on our cap situation going into next year? I am assuming we will be in a much better situation after getting rid of some of the dead money from the last few years. Also with Seymours 15 mil contract expiring.
I know we won't make a big splash in free agency but it would go a long way if we were able to sign a few mid tier FA's this offseason. Especially at cb as I don't think we will take one early in the draft. We have a lot of holes to fill and there are going to be even more once Reggie goes over contracts this offseason.
Its wishful thinking that will will have a low cap number heading into next season. Just wondering if anyone has more they can add concerning our cap situation.

| I think we also have the 7 mil in dead money owed to Wimbley coming off,think the most of Mcclains salary has already been paid out, so we might save about 4 mil by cutting him. |

If you cut them doesn't that hurt your cap though? I didn't realize McFadden's cap hit is so high I want the Jets to trade for him but with a contract like that I don't think that is anywhere near feasible as the Jets have a ton of holes to fill as well. |

Giants gave a 5th for Keith Rivers so it would be nice to get the 5th back if they could.

Reggie cut Kamerion Wimbley, Aaron Curry, Stanford Routt, Kevin Boss, John Henderson, and Chris Johnson. That's about $25 million worth of salary the Raiders have coming off the books in 2013.

I don't have a strong stance on that. I'd be fine keeping him, I wouldn't be upset losing him.

Seymour, Kelly, Heyward-Bey, McClain, and Brisel all need to be cut. We should also try to restructure Palmer and McFadden's deals this off-season as well.
