Joe has been 1st team All-Pro before, so it's a slight disappointment to be 2nd team, but still an honor.

This is Phil's 1st time being named an All-Pro.

The entire list:

Joe Thomas in six seasons is a:

6 time probowler
5 time All Pro (3 1st team, 2 2nd team)

And a case could be made he deserved an all-pro bid in 2007.

Baring a catastrophic backslide, Joe Thomas is on his way to Canton.

And I will be at the ceremony weeping like a little girl. Laughing

At this pace, they are going to rename the "left tackle" position a "joe thomas"

Very Happy

Cribbs, Ward, Thomas and Dawson all got votes, but Mack doesn't??

He was a first rounder, people know his name.

I'm actually surprised Ward got any votes, he deserved it for sure.

Thomas had some slip ups this year... a few sacks, a few dumb penalties. the homer in me would still take him over Duane Brown and Ryan Clady.

Dawson is very deserving of this. its about time his greatness is recognized by the outside world.

The AP picks this team. So it is almost a popularity contest, however not as biased as the pro-bowl. Wish they would do a coaches pool all pro team. The coaches know better than anybody else. I hate the obsession with both of the Pounceys, they are way over-rated. Even Hensley from ESPN had Mack above Pouncey in his all-division team. And If you read his garbage, he definitely isn't a Browns fan.

Its bullcrap that Joe didnt get first team this year!

IMO last year he should of been a 2nd teamer and a 1st teamer this year because he was a lot better this year than last year.

Joe Thomas had 426 plass blocking snaps and he only allowed 12 pressures; he graded out at 97.8 %

Clady and Brown the 1st greaded out at 97.5 and 97.1

but I think they get the nod over Thomas because I say they are better run blockers.

Joe Thomas is the best pass blocker but his run blocking wasnt the greatest this year and I think it could be that when he had to play next to a new starting guard. If we could get a legit LG to play next to JT his run blocking would be better

also just saying it now, you guys grilled CleBrown07 and I for draft Clady in our forum draft and he played like a complete stud this year lol

I just hope everyone realizes what they are watching every Sunday when he plays.

Joe Thomas is on pace to go down as one of the most decorated OL in the history of the game and is a certain HOFer at this point.

Most of us have not seen, and probably won't see another Browns lineman this good.

The fact that he seems to be a first rate human being as well makes this all the better.
