Mike Florio has a serious issue with the Cardinals. Bashes them constantly. This goes back years, don't know why. |
Florio was a practice squad kicker in the 90's and Joe Bugel cut him. |
LOL, seriously? _________________

As Jay Glazer said this weekend, the Jets can't give this job away. |
I would take it. |
The Jets troubled GM search is suddenly very easy to understand:

You sure you still want it, Khodder?!?
Actually, this article makes me re-think your suggestion of slow-playing the 2013 season with some creative cutting and focusing on fixing the money issues for 2014. _________________

Not me. Remember when I said punting the season would grossly effect the quality of personnel one could attract for the job? Well, here it is...in the flesh. _________________

I understand what you are saying, but maybe we are experiencing the same thing in regards to the coaching search. Maybe once we get our staff in place, we won't have a choice but to cut ties with a portion of the future Cap headaches, essentially giving us a soft landing. Does that make sense? I'm not advocating doing all that Khodder suggested, but definitely would consider a couple of the moves to keep us from digging a hole to the extent the Jets have. _________________

Yes. General Manager for an NFL team. I don't care about the 15 hour days the slepping in the office the pressure. I would love that job. LOVE it. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Yeah, me too! Even for the much-hated Jets. (I'm such a crappy Bills fan!)
Actually, I'd even be happy starting smaller as the AD for the local college. It actually would be quite challenging because we don't have a decent athletic budget and the school signed some stupid contract where they can't recruit football players from any county south of Sacramento, CA! Don't know if there's similar restrictions for the other sports. _________________
