Just imagine what Lovie could do with our defense.
Also, if and a big IF Lovie is hired. Would Urlacher follow him to Buffalo? Also its noted that Devin Hester was very upset about Lovie bing fired, could he also come to WNY?

What about Lovie Smith as HC and Bring in Norv Turner as OC? or Chip Kelly as HC and Lovie Smith as DC? _________________

I am happy we are at least interviewing him, for a guy that publicly came out and said he think he'd do well here and he's been a successful HC. If we didn't even give him the time of day? I would have been upset. my short list goes like this.
1) Lovie
2) Whiz
3) Mccoy
4) Marrone _________________

Exactly how I felt about us not even interviewing Brian Billick last time, even after he expressed interest in Buffalo, and was assembling a staff.
Seems like we're doing a much better job this time, which will hopefully result in us landing a better coach. _________________

Lovie would be a really good fit in Buffalo. The pieces are already in place on defense. You would just have to hope that he'd hire an OC who knows what the heck he's doing because that's where Lovie failed in Chicago, not getting the offense right. Norv Turner would actually make a lot of sense, and Lovie has a connection to him since he worked with his brother Ron Turner the former Bears OC. All I know is that you will want to avoid Mike Tice or Mike Martz as the OC if Lovie were to end up the new head coach of the Bills. _________________

Everyone is talking about Chip Kelly I was thinking is he really the risk you want to take. If you look he hasn't even coached at the NFL level before which makes me nervous about the bills hiring him. Does he have the smarts to be able to change his play calling if NFL learns how to stop his offense? So far not many teams in college can but in the pros defenses are bigger, stronger and faster. I think this is a high risk but could be a high reward where if Lovie Smith is coach I dont see a big risk but I dont know if he could bring the bills to the top level of where they should be offensively. His defense is solid but he cant find an offensive coor to come to bears let alone to buffalo _________________

Jim played for many teams in the NFL and was the Raiders QB coach in 02 and 03. Kelly has none of that. _________________
