So DRC is a free agent in 2013 and the Eagles have yet to open talks..
How many people would be turned off to having DRC back in Cardinal red opposite of Peterson?
If you look at DRC's stat line last season, he was pretty close to Peterson and had more passes defensed than William Gay.
Just thinking out loud.. |

Depends on the defensive scheme. If Horton stays, hard to see it. _________________

I would welcome him back, if he didnt want huge money.
Definately can play as a #2 CB, not a #1.
Would be nice to see him and PP together. |

Under Horton no.. But other than that, YES I would love him back. We could have a scary pair of islands, with DRC and PP. _________________

DRC refuses to tackle. That is not going to fly with Ray. Why he did not mind he was shipped out when he took the job. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Meh, Gay doesn't tackle either. He gets run over atleast once a game. |

It is about willingness to tackle, gay puts himself into the right positions to make the play, Dec is undisciplined and in general hates tackling. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Only if he would tackle... He could be a top 8 CB _________________

I haven't been watching Eagles games but wasn't he inconsistent in coverage as well? _________________

He was inconsistent in effort.
DRC has earned the moniker, Doesn't Really Care.
His tackling wasn't superior by any means, but he had his moments...when he tried.
It is going to be about the coach for him.
All about the coach. |

That is why we got rid of him, I remember them talking about DRC saying he was bored out there, while he was getting torched by the opposing team _________________ Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

DRC would fit this scheme now that Horton is out.
If Bowles comes with a 1 gap 3-4, DBs dont press as much and are put in man coverage, expected to be good cover corners.
This begs this question again..
DRC back to AZ? |

Hard to say. Our safeties were so astoundingly bad that it's really difficult to blame the CBs for anything. DRC played great football in about eight games and pretty mediocre football in the other eight.
If I had to guess, the Eagles probably will try to sign DRC back. But it's not a sure thing, depending on how much money he wants. |
