Just listned to the Michael Bidwell interview and here are the talking points.
Ray Horton and Steve Keim are candidates.
Quote from Michael Bidwell "I am not ready to give up on Kevin Kolb" He also said any coaching interview will revolve around making kevin kolb the franchise qb to determine if he is the guy.
He has already contacted and will interview Mike Mccoy and Any Reid.
Michael will make it known when he interviews other candidates so us fans will be updated continually when new names surface.
Very interesting stuff concerning both kolb and reid. |

The team disclosed every interviewee back in 07, good to see that will continue.
have to see on Kolb. Doubt it matters unless Kolb takes a huge paycut. _________________

The only thing that matter about Kolb is will he take a smaller deal. _________________

It is kind of hard to read between the lines in regards to the Kolb statement. Does this mean that Kolb will be our starter in 2013 (assuming on a smaller deal) or that the team will open it up to competition with him?
Could this be like the Niners back in '11 when Alex Smith was the starter but they had Kaepernick backing him up and developing, just waiting for his chance? _________________

When fit Kolb showed he could play.
I could tolerate him for a season, with some geniune competition.
Or bring in Alex Smith and let the 2 go at it.
That would work, depending on Kolb taking a pay cut and Smith not wanting serious $ |

Bidwill also stated in the interview that firing Whiz has nothing to do with whether or not he would relinquish any personnel say or say over his coaching staff. _________________

Bidwill talked about how the next HC will be decided on whether they can "develop" a QB. That leads me to believe that the next HC is offensive minded. I'm thinking that Haley might be the next HC. It was strange that Bidwill ignored the question about him.
My short list in no particular order:
Mike McCoy
Andy Reid
Todd Haley
Kyle Shanahan
Ray Horton |
