| Heard a rumor about this the other day. It makes since that he was more banged up than anyone thought. I cracked a rib years ago and that was painful. Can't imagine playing RB in the NFL with broken ribs week after week. Kid is a tough SOB. Can't wait to see him next year after an off season to fully heal up. |

Did you even watch this season?
The running game was not the problem. None of by a country mile. |

Now that is true.
Did it cost us games? No.
If there were a list, it would be near the bottom. |

Might as well end this year agreeing with you, since I already have with others.

I'm not surprised. He definetely lacked some burst the second half of the season. Tough SOB to play through that. It hurts just to take a breath with broken ribs.
I honestly think he's a 2000 total yards kinda guy when healthy, starting next year. |
So is that toughness or stupidity? |
im leaning more towards stupidity. Your tough when you play hurt but when you legit injured, get healed up. |
Toughness on his part, for sure. Stupidity on the parts of the medical and coaching staffs, for sure, too. |
No, it's all toughness. The medical issue was simply pain. The coaches would be stupid to tell the player he can't play in pain. _________________

Whether I did or didn't is not relevant to Richardson playing through a painful injury for most of the season. It also does not change the fact that an NFL coach would be stupid to tell a player he can't play in pain. _________________

I don't get the hate he's getting. If he doesn't play you'd all complain "waaah he's a bust he's always hurt what a waste of the 3rd overall" and since he did play "OMGZ what an idiot he should of sat out".
It shows toughness more than anything. To look back at what he did this year TD wise with broken ribs is crazy. I for one cannot wait to see what a healthy TRich can do in 2013. I want a guy on my team who has the "throw some dirt on it" mentality if he's in some pain. _________________

Trent did both and didn't hurt the team. Mad respect for that man.
Give him the "C". |
