Man, that season had some magic.
McNabb was throwing to Reggie Brown, Greg Lewis, and Donte Stallworth...
And was leading the NFL in
-Passing Yards
-Touchdowns
-Yards/Completion
Forgive me, for I was younger than Oland when I made this
http://s157.beta.photobucket.com/user/Phire23/media/FF%20Stuff/EVS.mp4.html
That season was so sweet.
McNabb goes down with ACL after an amazing start...
Jeff Garcia comes in, we lose to Indianapolis... then win 4 straight including 3 straight Division games against our rivals concluding on Christmas Day and getting into the playoffs, beating the Giants again! |
I thought we were Superbowl bound that year. McNabb was MVP up until that point _________________

SO RED!!!
Love his good bye speech he gave to the team. Reid looked almost relieved to be saying good bye. But love how he told them to remain focused on a Super Bowl. Touching moment when he said "All Hail the Eagles Baby!" _________________

Awesome work, Phire.
I'll always love Andy, he's a great dude and a great football coach. It sucks we didn't win the big one but he did a lot for this city. My favorite times were during the run where we lost to the Cards in the championship game. It was just a tough, gritty bunch. And that footage where Andy's like, "I'll go to war with this group of guys any city any day!!!." It was a crazy season and probably my most enjoyable as a fan just because it was that one last shot for a lot of our guys, too bad it just wasn't in the cards... _________________
