Todd Haley con: His repeated abrasive attitude hinders his ability to get along with fellow coaches and players and often leads to those players and coaches leaving the team he is on. _________________

Pro for Jay Gruden: He's had success developing, scoring points and thus helping to win games with a quarterback who wasn't a top 3 NFL Draft pick. That's something very few coaches in the league today can say. |
I just want to add this to this a quick sidenote. Andy Dalton, who finished just slightly above average at 13th in overall QB rating, was 1 of just 6 starting quarterbacks to finish in the top 15 of the league in this category. 2 of those other 6 are Tom Brady and Drew Brees. 1 is Russell Wilson.
I think Jay Gruden and Darrell Bevell (Who AZP mentioned a few pages ago) should be getting serious attention from the Arizona Cardinals. _________________

Bringing back home a solid offensive mind AND sticking it to the Seahawks? I can think of worse scenarios than this. _________________

Might be because he's focused on the playoffs, Seattle didn't have a bye. Showing respect to the team and players to focus on the postseason? I can see that being reason. I'd respect that a lot too personally.
You need to re-size the sig AZP. The person who made it should be able to help you out with that. _________________

Horton pro: Given the changes in coaching & FO staffing, keeping Horton offers some stability, especially on the defense. It's minor, but it's something.
McCoy pro: History of matching the offense to the personnel...for example the change to using Tebow in that option offense from 2 seasons ago _________________

I'm I the only one who gets the feeling that if another team had tried to hire Horton as a HC Arizona would have made Horton its head coach? _________________

I was told my buddy that what AZP mentioned a few days ago is correct, Keim and Bidwill are not "excited" about Horton's proposed offensive staff and that unless he can put a more attractive list together we will continue to look at other candidates. _________________

You have to think that they are not enamored with what Gruden or McCoy have to bring to the table either and are waiting to interveiw someone from the likes of Seattle or Green Bay, teams that are in the playoffs and did not have that BYE week. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

My buddy was very vague but here's kinda what I gathered from him:
-Bidwill/Keim aren't "excited" about Horton's offensive staff choices
-Mike McCoy interview was good not great and they think some of McCoy's offensive staff choices will be blocked from coming here
-Gruden's interview was ok
-Haley wants to be guaranteed the job and doesn't want to have to interview for it
He said Keim and Bidwill are considered interviewing more candidates but nothing's been decided. Going over names as we speak, apparently. _________________

I actually didn't ask (Go ahead, throw rocks...). All he said was Haley wants the job but he doesn't want to go through the interview process. It sounds like he wants assurances of his candidacy. _________________
