So Chet becomes Bush's replacement. This offseason becomes even more stranger. _________________

This just leads me even more to think that Gray is staying. Ugh.
The offseason keeps getting worse and worse. _________________

Yeah, if we are filling the assistant positions, it sure looks that way. Which doesn't bother me so much. He got better over the course of the season I thought. And the offense put the defense in bad situations routinely.
This sure has been a bizzare offseason though. The only way I can keep myself sane is to believe that Munchak knows he is on his last chance if he doesn't improve and is going with people he believes in and just hoping he is right I guess. _________________

Munchak obviously had too many concussions in his career because these decisions are beyond head scratching. _________________

^^^ The way he looks on the sidelines sometimes, you might be correct.
Mel Tucker could be out there for the taking. Anyone interested?
| Quote: | Jaguars in-limbo defensive coordinator Mel Tucker is "almost certain" that he won't return to Jacksonville in 2012.
New Jags coach Gus Bradley is a defensive mind, and he may want a coordinator more submissive than well-respected Tucker, who interviewed for the head coaching job at Wisconsin just after the season. Tucker would be a nice hire for an NFL team looking to implement a successful Cover 2-style defensive scheme. |

The positive is that our new WR coach Shawn Jefferson was Detriot's WR coach and Calvin Johnson had nothing but positive things to say about him. In fact, I've heard nothing but positives about him from multiple people. Also Sylvester Croom was Barry Sanders OC when he rushed for 2000 yards, for whatever that's worth.
Still, I'm a bit weary about our whole approach so far this offseason. |

I don't have a problem with any of those moves really. It's honestly probably the best he could do with the current state of the organization and being on his final leg. _________________

| God I wish. Unfortunately, it's not going to happen. What we need is more Jerry Gray. _________________

Jefferson is new - coached Calvin Johnson this year.
Henshaw used to coach here back in the 90's/early 2000's.
| Quote: | | George then coached the tight ends/offensive line for the Tennessee Titans in 1997 & 1998. In 1999 he was promoted to assistant head coach-running game. From 2000-2005 he was the assistant head coach offense for the Titans. In 2006-2007 George was the senior offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints where he coached the running backs. Henshaw has coached every offensive position, coached on 9 teams that went to the playoffs, coached in the Pro Bowl 3 times and in the Super Bowl twice |

Croom is also new. He was RB at Jax last year. _________________

Not trying to sound like a [inappropriate/removed] can it just doesnt take much to coach Calvin Johnson IMO. The rest of the Detroit WRs wernt to impressive _________________
