I actually know George Wilson. We're from the same hometown and a good friend played ball with him in high school. Really good dude. If anyone remembers the Louisville QB Hunter Cantwell, they played together in HS. _________________

I hope he signs it be nice to sign a few vets cut a few contracts like Babs an Amano and start off on the right foot heading into the real Free agency period and still holding that 10 pick in the draft _________________

I think he can be a good fit play that Chris Hope role like he did when he first got here. Hope might have been younger not sure but def could bring the leadership _________________

Hope was 26 when he came to TN. Wilson is 31. _________________

Damn 26 really? Never mind a bad comparison but i was talking strictly leadership its still a bad example because atleast Hope was coming off a Super Bowl never mind disregard the Hope comparison but my and a lot of peoples point is we need leadership on that defense from some where. Guys like McCourty look like they lead by example and say all the right things but someone has to put fear into opposing offenses. Its so weird now we've had the luxury of having a Bulluck Rolle Kearse KVB and Finnegan be our leaders since forever now you dont realize how important it is to a winning team _________________

| Quote: | Center of attention?: The Titans have 18 players scheduled to become unrestricted free agents on March 12, along with one restricted free agent — center Fernando Velasco.
Because Velasco wasn’t drafted, he could attract attention from other teams if the Titans don’t put a first-round tender ($2.879 million) or second-round tender ($2.023 million) on him. Restricted free agents are allowed to negotiate with other teams, but if they sign elsewhere the original team would have a right to match the offer or be awarded draft pick compensation.
If the Titans don’t attach a first- or second-round tender on Velasco, he’d be scheduled to make $1.323 million, although another team could try to sign him to an offer sheet.
According to Profootballfocus.com, Velasco played 843 snaps in 2012 and did not give up a sack. |

If we were to seriously let Velasco walk, I may just have to step away for a little while. _________________

I think Velasco played well and deserves a contract and should prob be a starter some where on this line. We all know Amano should be cut but its still a wait and see thing with him i guess the Titans just really like him. But hopefully Velasco is brought back because he earned it last year. Out of all the problems on the o-line last year he wasnt one of them _________________

2M for a 2nd round tender? Sign me up for that one. This one shouldn't be hard. The Titans will get it done, and will probably begin talks on a longer deal once the rest of the pieces start falling together.
If another team gives me a 2nd for him, I'd jump on that in a heartbeat. No one would give a 1st, so you make it a 2nd, just to make enticing enough (although I still don't think anyone would give up that 2nd for him). _________________

I read the other day that George Wilson was replaced at safety in Buffalo due to poor play. Why would we want him? _________________

Exactly. Buffalo fans said he was pretty bad last season. _________________

I guess that gives us a little more perspective in our draft options. _________________ Wedding Vow: I promise I will love you until the day you really p-ss me off. |
