Whisenhunt could not have handled the QB situation worse after Kurt Warner retired. He's had it coming. _________________

If anyone out there still calls Arizona cheap (A label that should have disappeared about 4 years ago...), you can officially stop. We're eating a TON of salary with the firings from today, which also included every member of the offensive staff aside from TE coach Freddie Kitchens. _________________

Hmm...I thought teams couldnt interview coaches who were still had games left. Did they change that?
Also....yet another OC getting overrated because of Peyton Manning. I dont know much about McCoy so I cant say he will be bad or anything, but if he gets a HC job, PM will be the main reason most likely.
As for Whiz...its hilarious how people keep making excuses for him. Im not sayings its ALL his fault, but I laugh when I hear its not his fault for how bad the offense was. Thats just ridicuilous. _________________

But its not b/c of Peyton Manning, its b/c of Tim Tebow. _________________

He did guide the Tim Tebow led offense to a division championship, playoffs, and a wildcard round win against the Steelers.
Again, Tim Tebow was playing QB. _________________

I think (Not sure) that's it's always been allowable to interview a coach from a playoff team IF that team is on a bye. I say that because I remember Haley interviewed for the Kansas City job during the week in between the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl in 08/09. _________________

The offense was terrible before Tebow took over.
The offense was terrible after Tebow took over....except the defense was playing better and Tebow was making plays at the end of games to pull it out.
The Steelers inability to adjust and cover DeMariyus Thomas was the main reason that happened.
And now Peyton Manning leads the offense.
Im not saying McCoy is bad, because there really isnt alot to go off of.
All Im saying is I think he is becoming overrated as an OC because of the flukey Tebow stuff and now having Manning to carry the offense. _________________

I was listening to local radio host Mike Jureki. He said that Whis was going to be asked to give up his personnel duties and he would likely say no.
I wonder if he could have saved his job if this is true. |

Absolutely deserved to be fired, talk about overrated. Great HC's get the most out of their players, and the offensive side of that team has been dreadful ever since Warner left. Wiz has enough say in personnel decisions to determine the talent on this team, and it's been doing nothing but going downhill since their SB appearance. _________________
