I thought they would give him another year. I'm a little surprised with this firing. _________________

I hate this. Andy Reid makes too much sense here. Whisenhunt shouldnt have a problem finding a job. Think Arians will also be favorite. _________________

They fired Groves the GM, good... should of gave Whisenhunt another shot with a better GM. | Unless Whiz was the Rex Ryan (which I don't believe either) he has a major say in who they draft and trade for *cough Kolb* _________________

For one, it's Graves, not Groves. Secondly, Whiz had significant personnel say. That ezcuse doesn't fly. _________________

Fair enough but i still put most of the blame on the lack of talent on the roster on the GM's shoulders. _________________

And, no offense, that would be based entirely on nothing. _________________

| I think Whis ends up as an OC for the next few years, but I think if Jerry Jones could learn to loosen his grip (ha!), he would be a good fit in Dallas. That team needs an authority that Jason Garret cannot provide. Unfortunately, I can't envision Jerry and Whis getting along. |

Whiz will get another chance, maybe even this year. I think he could do a good job in San Diego, they already have a QB, and they run a 3-4. He is not a bad coach by any means, as a matter of fact, if the Cardinals don't replace him with Ray Horton then I will be upset by the decision to let Whiz go.
same goes for Rod Graves...he was not a bad GM while he was here overall. And if we dont replace him with in-house favorite Steve Keim I will be upset to see him gone. _________________
